What the Book is About

Little White Fish is looking for his mommy and encounters many sea creatures of different colors along his way. What color will mommy be?

First Impressions

I love the simple color scheme which is good for very young readers to grab their attention. The artwork is stunning!

What I Liked

I really like that this book teaches children colors and also how to compare new things to things they already know. In addition, I liked that the wording changes a little bit on each page so that it doesn’t get too repetitive. I really liked the different sea creatures included in the book, too.

What I Didn’t Like

Nothing! This book is great for early readers.

Final Thoughts

This is a great early children’s book with a simple design that will draw young children in. It’s a good introduction to colors and naming sea creatures. I think it’s an enjoyable book for many ages, but a 2-3 year old would probably find this book very interesting. I highly recommend Little White Fish!
