What the Book is About

Edison: The Mystery of the Missing Mouse Treasure follows a young mouse named Pete as he tries to find his ancestor’s treasure from many generations earlier.

First Impressions

The first thing I noticed was how detailed and beautiful the artwork in this book is. I want this in my hands so I can see the illustrations in real life.

What I Liked

The story was very charming and went through the process Pete took to try to find his ancestor’s treasure. Pete goes to the professor for help and together they journey into the deep ocean. What they discover is really cool! I won’t spoil the story for you, though. I loved the character development, the unique story, and the tie-in to the famous inventor. This book had so much to love, I can’t share it all! This is one of those books that you just have to pick up for yourself to understand.

What I Didn’t Like

Literally, nothing! It was so good, I couldn’t even find one nitpicky thing to dislike about it.

Final Thoughts

I highly recommend this book. I plan to purchase a hardcover copy of this book in the future and the rest of the books by this author. The illustrations are stunning. The story is well-developed and fun. It’s a grand adventure all wrapped up in a children’s book.
