Gandhi was nothing short of an inspiration for many people around the world after his death. I remember learning about him in school and being inspired by his selflessness, but other than that, I had forgotten about his achievements. This book was a good primer on all that he had accomplished in his lifetime. I really enjoyed learning about his commitment to non-violence and peaceful protest and was surprised and excited to learn that Nelson Mandela and Martin Luther King Jr used his philosophies to further their causes, as well. I highly recommend this book!

Thank you to Diane Bailey and DK for making DK Life Stories: Gandhi available to me.
